The hotel has excellent location. It is right on the beach and next to the famous archeological site of Akrotiri. It is 1-5 min walking to a row of excellent restaurants which we had 3 dinners there. It is next to a pickup place for a boat tour to the red, white and black beaches. The hotel is newly remodeled and decorated. The beds are comfortable. The room is spacious. The linen is very clean. We had maid service every day of our stay. I had a strained angle and the owner kindly relocated me to a room at a room at a lower level so I did not have to climb many stairs and our breakfasts were delivered to our room daily. The hotel is at the beach and we enjoyed sunrise from the terrace every day. Excellent stay.

Everyone I encountered was so accommodating, from greeting us outside upon arrival to seeing us off safely back to the airport. Any special requests I needed The Elessa staff went up and above to make things happen. The bonus to all of this was that the owner was very hands-on and ensured a great stay for all guests. He came out to meet us and asked for feedback, both positive or negative. Finally, someone who cares about the needs of their customers. I would like to say I appreciated everyone and everything you've done for us to be sure our stay in Santorini was top-notch. Thank you!

The hotel is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a stunning balcony view. The hotel’s restaurant, Fico, was some of the best food we had during our stay in Santorini. So much so that we ate here three times during our six day stay in addition to the delicious daily breakfast. It is the staff that truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. The attention to detail in the service is rarely found anymore and Meroviglia surpassed all of our expectations! We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.
